In step with art and culture

BTC CITY Ljubljana is a synonym for a place of culture and art. The area surrounds visitors with artworks placed in public space to enrich the cultural tradition of society. Ljubljana’s BTC City also hosts an art tour that guides visitors around the statues and sculptures placed in the area.

BTC promotes and supports culture through its SITI TEATER theatre which hosts over 200 events and theatre performances for over 34,000 visitors each year.

In 2017 BTC took another step forward and organised the first Ljubljana ART EXPO in collaboration with Institute Atelje Art Murn International. The event was one of the largest art fair events in Slovenia. Art Expo Ljubljana took place over 14 days on over 2500 m2 of space along the Atlantis water park in BTC CITY Ljubljana. Over the two weeks the event hosted 142 artists from 15 countries at its AAMI Art Village. The mission of ART EXPO is to help emerging artists gain their opportunity to showcase their art and present themselves to art aficionados and stand alongside established and recognised artists and creators to show the world the scope and relevance of artistic spirit and creation.
