Slovenian Science Foundation (SZF) organized already the 18th annual Slovenian Science Festival, entitled From reason to invention (“Od razuma do izuma”), which took place between 9th and 11th October in the Cankarjev dom Centre. 

This year’s festival contents were divided into three main parts. The first part covered the content that manifested the art of living with tributes to Jože Plečnik and Herman Potočnik-Noordung. The second part emphasized the power of healing with a tribute to Janez Mihael Žagar. The third part focused on the beauty of flying with a tribute to Anton Kuhelj.

The exhibition was dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. 28 professional organisations were in charge of preparing the festival events under the management of Slovenian Science Foundation.

Along with Slovenian organisations there were also some foreign ones, from Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy present at the festival.
