Slovenian gymnast Ekaterina Vedeneeva recently returned from the World Championships in Bulgaria, where she became the first Slovenian ever to win a rhythmic gymnastics medal at that level. Winning third place, she set a new milestone in Slovenian rhythmic gymnastics in the course of an exceptional season.

With her performances at the European Championships, the 2022 World Games in the USA and the medal won at the World Championships, she has led Slovenia to the top of competition rankings. She is an outstanding rhythmic gymnast, whose dedication to the sport makes her an example for all athletes to follow. Her achievements are the result of unwavering motivation, perseverance and years of training.

As a sign of gratitude for her outstanding achievements at the World Championships, Damjan Kralj, CEO of the BTC company, the general sponsor of the Slovenian Gymnastics Federation, has presented Ekaterina with a prize in the amount of 6,500 euros. The BTC company has been Vedeneeva’s proud personal sponsor since 2019, supporting her ever since she started to compete for Slovenia.
