On Friday and Saturday, 21 and 22 October, the three BTC Cities hosted the Festival of Shopping and Fun. This is the biggest event in BTC City which has been combining entertainment contents with discounts and other deals for customers for more than 20 years, over the past few years even twice a year – in spring and in autumn. This autumn, we’ve upgraded the event and added several smaller events at different locations in BTC City Ljubljana. A big novelty is also the new concept of promotion and sales – influencers’ pop-up shops.
The pop-up shop concept provides entrepreneurs with a testing ground for the product’s market potential in an area most visited by consumers in Slovenia. The BTC company takes care of the entire organisation and promotion of the festival, provides space for pop-up shops, while the partners focus on carrying out their event and the promotion of their pop-up area via their channels. At the autumn Festival of Shopping and Fun, visitors got to admire top brands, such as SWY, Lelosi, Malinca, The Base Label, The Méra Collection, Rolly slippers, Lestrson Handmade products and Sunshine opticians, brands they mostly admire online.
The entire event in the BTC City area was accompanied with discounts, excellent deals and unique additional events. The visitors were excited to see athletes, fashion gurus and musicians and were thrilled to try out the Star Track range by Polleo Sport and to mingle with Exatlon participants. The visitors also attended sports and rhythmic gymnastics workshops in Decathlon and enjoyed in sporting activities with Ana Čufer and Žiga X Gombač in Extreme Vital. Challe Salle and Trkaj mingled with young families in Baby Center, while fashion expert Lorella Flego introduced autumn fashion trends to all fans of fashion in Emporium. In Big Bang, the Slovenian Table Tennis Association presented its popular sport, while special sports challenges were introduced by handball clubs RK Krim and ŽRD Litija. The Olympic Committee of Slovenia organised Mini Olympics in Big Bang.
