In the desire to have an imaginative and original name, in February BTC asked the readers of its magazine VODNIK and its web page visitors to help choose a name for Water City. More than 600 suggestions were submitted. They were innovative and came up to expectations so it was not too difficult to choose the right one. The name most often mentioned was:
ATLANTIS Water City
The participants said the name ATLANTIS reminded them of the sea and fun and could be connected with BTC City. At the same time, it is international so Water City can also be advertised abroad.
The name was chosen at the right time because construction works are already under way and BTC’s visitors can see Water City in the making.
Water City will contain three floors with swimming pools, saunas, massage parlours, a restaurant etc and offer four complexes: World of experiences, Children’s world, Sauna land and Thermal temple. The ATLANTIS Water City has a capacity for 4,000 visitors who will be able to enjoy various activities such as waterfall baths, saunas shaped like mountain huts, massages, toboggan slides etc. There will be 14 swimming pools, mostly in the World of experiences and a rich entertainment programme for the youngest who will also make their parents happy.
