BTC is expanding the offer across its shopping centres. Last week, BTC City Ljubljana saw the opening of the largest and the most interactive Sport Vision store in Slovenia, whereas BTC City Murska Sobota invites its visitors to taste the treats of the very first McDonald’s in the Pomurje region.
From Thursday, 20 August, the offer of sports equipment in BTC City Ljubljana is even more extensive. In Hall 12, a new Sport Vision store was opened. Spanning as much as 1000 square metres, it offers shoppers the newest footwear and clothing lines as well as sports and leisure accessories for the entire family.
Besides its varied offer, the store ensures a top shopping experience with its interactive design. For example, before purchasing, shoppers are able to test running shoes on the treadmill directly in the store. In addition, the purchase of footwear is made easier with the help of the most advanced foot-scanner Safesize. Simultaneously, it enables a static and dynamic analysis of feet, performing a 3-D measurement of a foot and the visualisation of the inside of the footwear. The scan results show the length, width and height of the foot and assess the foot arch; at the same time, the scanner suggests the most suitable footwear models of different brands. The foot-scanner comes as a relief also to parents who are buying footwear for their children. While the parents are shopping, the youngest can play in the fun corner in the children’s aisle, where they can also use an interactive tablet.
“The store in BTC City Ljubljana is the largest Sport Vision store in Slovenia, which is an important novelty for us as it strengthens our position of the leading sports footwear, clothing and accessories provider in the Balkan region. We are happy our new store can provide customers with the largest selection of items from world renowned brands and ease their purchase by providing help of our professionally trained sales staff and all the benefits of advanced technology,” said Tijana Ramić, Head of Marketing at Sport Vision, upon the opening of the new store.
BTC City Murska Sobota also introduced a big novelty. On Friday, 21 August, fans of McDonald’s classic offer were thrilled to see the opening of a new McDonald’s restaurant. On 450 square metres, it provides its guests with an already known food offer, as well as the offer of sweets and coffee in McCafé. Also available is the McDrive, where food and drinks can be ordered and collected directly from the car. This is the 22nd McDonald’s in Slovenia, but it is the first in the Pomurje region.
“McDonald’s is pleased to see our popular food and drinks on offer now also in the Pomurje region. We believe that our offer in the ambience of a modernly equipped restaurant will enrich the food offer in BTC City Murska Sobota. The latter is the largest shopping centre in the region, yearly visited by more than two million visitors and as such a perfect location for our restaurant,” said Srđan Krumpak, Managing Director at Alpe-Panon, d. o. o., McDonald’s DL.
Across all three BTC City shopping centres in Ljubljana, Murska Sobota and Novo mesto, BTC offers its visitors a unique experience in shopping, discovering different tastes and indulging in unforgettable adventures. “At BTC, we believe that visitors return to us due to our vast offer and varied contents which are regularly updated to meet various expectations and demands of our guests and business partners. It pleases us to have the Sport Vision store joining our offer in BTC City Ljubljana. With it, we will expand our offer of sports equipment even further and strengthen our position of a sports vendor. We also welcome the opening of McDonald’s in BTC City Murska Sobota, representing a significant addition to the selection of food and drink vendors in this shopping centre,” said Miha Rakar, Director of BTC City.
For over 25 years, BTC has made it its mission to provide its visitors with as varied offer as possible, representing an intertwining of commercial and service providers as well as food and drink vendors. With its diverse offer and with the arrival of new brands to BTC Cities, BTC is paying attention to the customers’ needs and to global trends and thereby ensures its shopping centres remain attractive for visitors.
