At the BTC company, we have long been aware that a company can only be successful if it coexists harmoniously with nature and society and gives back what it receives. Complementing the principle by which we have to be the green transformation we want to see in the world, the BTC company put this awareness at the forefront of its operations many years ago. Every year, we plan numerous environmental and socially responsible projects, which contribute to a better life and a better future for the environment, ourselves and our descendants.

Sustainable development is the foundation of the BTC company’s long-term strategy until 2025, in the scope of which we implement and plan projects aimed at increasing the surface area of green spaces, energy transformation, the development of sustainable mobility and the transition to a circular economy, thereby gradually reducing our carbon footprint, improving the microclimate of our BTC Cities, and improving the comfort and well-being of our visitors, employees and business partners who visit or operate in our BTC Cities.

  • Execution and development of sustainable projects in the field of energy, water management, waste management, traffic, safety and social responsibility.

  • Reducing the influence of exhaust gases on the environment and contributing to improved safety and flow of traffic.

  • Activities towards rational use of energy and development of new energy sources.

  • Increasing the share of recycled and processed secondary raw materials and reducing the share of mixed communal waste at our own processing station.

  • Promotion of circular and collaborative economy and implementation of green economy projects.

Our energy efficiency mission focuses on exploring new and innovative green technologies and renewable energy sources, methods of effective and responsible use of energy, conscientious use of new technologies and many other solutions. The project includes necessary investments and infrastructure development for reducing energy consumption.

The Sustainability hub

The Sustainability hub of BTC City is an accelerator of green transition into a carbon-free society.

It is a network of progressive companies and individuals who with their transfer of knowledge, experiences and good practice seek and establish the most novel and modern solutions which accelerate the green transition into a carbon-free society.

In one single area, it combines research, development, presentation and promotion of newest technologies, futuristic business models and other achievements which will significantly contribute to the implementation of sustainable business operations and lifestyles.
